On April 16, Deputy Premier and Minister for Climate, Environment and Water the Hon. Susan Close MP will be a keynote speaker at a Community Nature Forum to be held in Aldinga, examining ways to protect the unique environment of the Fleurieu Peninsula and Kangaroo Island.
The Forum, organised by the Wilderness Society and the Conservation Council SA, will feature presentations, a panel discussion, and an opportunity for attendees to ask questions relating to local nature issues.
Directly before and after the Forum, you will have a chance to meet and chat with local groups working on the ground to protect various parts of the Fleurieu and KI, and find out what you can do to help.
Groups involved include:
Sellicks Woodlands & Wetlands Network
The Wild South
Willunga Environment Centre
Kangaroo Island Eco-Action
Hindmarsh Island Landcare
Friends of Gulf of St Vincent
Great Australian Bight Alliance
