Three local women, who were arrested during an anti-fossil fuel protest during the Tour Down Under in January, have had their case adjourned until April 11th.
Bea, Jayne and Mag (pictured above) joined a group of women aged 58 to 78 who bared their breasts and bottoms during the race, revealing the messages “SANTOS SUCKS” and “DUMP SANTOS” during the Women’s Stage One race of the Tour Down Under.
Mag, along with Jayne and Beatrix, were arrested as part of this protest.
On Feb 23rd, their court hearing was adjourned and they are now awaiting pretrial negotiations in April.
The action was part of a series of rolling protests targeting Santos throughout the Tour Down Under.
