The Electoral Commission of South Australia has just released the names of the candidates who have nominated for the City of Onkaparinga elections in November.
Eight people have thrown their hat in the ring for the office of Lord Mayor, while similar numbers are standing for Councillor in local Wards.
Voting in council elections is conducted by post. All election materials, including your ballot papers, are mailed directly to the postal address you provided on the electoral roll.
The Electoral Commission SA automatically mails postal voting packs to each voter after nominations close.
Ballot papers are mailed out between Friday 14 October and Thursday 20 October, and must be returned by 5 pm on Thursday 10 November.
