Noted local artist and Willunga resident Lynn Chamberlain has extended a personal invitation to come and discover a world of art in Willunga during the SALA Festival in August.
Here it is:
There’s a lot happening in Willunga for SALA this year & I invite you to enjoy this lovely old town with its many cafes, pubs & art venues. To come to the opening of exhibitions on Sunday August 4th, start at Bethany Hall at 2.00pm with our group of artists responding to the theme of “Bush Song”.
Then please join me at Willunga Environment Centre at 3.00pm for the opening by Councillor Marisa Bell of my “Love where you Live” exhibition featuring places you may know.
Next door is Hither & Yon Wine Bar, a major SALA sponsor then keep going up the High Street to Off the Slate Gallery.
Round out the afternoon with a glass of wine at 4.00pm for “Coasting around the Fleurieu”, my other exhibition at The Old Bush Inn.
If Sunday the 4th doesn’t suit you. most SALA venues are open daily & weekends until the 25th or some until Saturday the 31st.
While Artists are thrilled to sell our works we love to have a crowd enjoy our shows & we enjoy some positive feedback. There’s lots to see in Willunga.
Looking forward to seeing you in August.
