The historic village of Aldinga, surrounding the intersection of Port Road and Old Coach Road, has attracted a fascinating collection of creative small businesses, retail outlets and cafes, etc, and in the process has created a unique shopping, dining and entertainment precinct, incorporating a number of historic sites.
The ongoing road improvements and enhanced streetscape, the major expansion of the Port Road sporting complex and the establishment of the Payinthi Super School will add further to the precinct’s appeal, as will the revamped Aldinga Hotel and other, new entertainment venues such as Kickback Brewery and Keg & Barrell, etc.
Aldinga Village Voice is being published to capitalise on these strengths of Aldinga Village, to create greater awareness of the precinct, and to build a sense of community and shared vision among business owners, workers, visitors and local residents alike.
