The Bulk Cellar, a small family business, started in 2021 as a means of helping to eliminate single use plastic packaging on dry goods found in your pantry and in the home, whilst making it affordable to purchase local and good quality products.
According to proprietor Lindsey McEwen, “We want to make it easy for you to shop plastic free and with zero waste, and save your precious time.
“As a mother of two young children, and on the path of trying to create less waste, I started The Bulk Cellar with an online store with pickup and delivery options.
“Customers can bring in their own containers and refill, or we provide paper bags.
“And now we have a NEW storefront in the Aldinga Arts Eco Village, on Port Rd Aldinga!
“We are focused on our local community, inspiring and promoting a healthier lifestyle with less plastic,” said Lindsey.
You can order online at The Bulk Cellar | Wholefoods & sustainable products or stop in at the shop for affordable wholefoods found in your pantry, as well as environmentally friendly, sustainable living products found throughout your home, including:
Cooking & Baking Ingredients, Grains, Rice & Cereal, Pasta & Noodles, Nuts & Seeds, Nut Butters & Nut Mylks, Beans, Legumes & Lentils and more.
Herbs, Spices & Botanicals, as well as Dried Fruit, Oils, Vinegars, Syrups and Sauces, Preserves, Pastes and Mixes, Natural Cleaning & Refills and much, much more.
Fresh fruit and veges, eggs and local seedlings, too.
As an alternative to mainstream supermarket shopping, The Bulk Cellar has a lot going for it.
As Lindsey says: “We look forward to growing with you!”
