Gabriella Smart in concert

A fundraiser for Friends of Willunga Basin.
Champion of contemporary music and founder and artistic director of Soundstream, new music ensemble in residence at the University of Adelaide, Gabriella Smart will present a selection of contemporary works for piano.
Gabriella is a leading advocate of new music in Australia through performance, improvisation, composition and curation.
She is a Churchill Fellow and received a Helpmann Award in 2009. In 2019, she was the recipient of the Australia Council Residency in Paris, and an Arts SA Fellowship.

In this program for solo piano/piano and electronics, Gabriella performs recent compositions by international
composers with whom she has a personal connection, ranging in mood from compassion to joy, and
introspection.
