I am deeply committed to social justice and a fair society.
A society where every person has the opportunity to fulfil their potential and live a safe and prosperous life.
I am an intensive care nurse and a nurse educator, and I have worked in the health system for all of my working life.
As a frontline worker, I have experienced the stresses that the health system is under. I understand the need for better resources to support nurses and doctors and the people they care for. In particular, our older residents who struggle to access home care and aged care support services.
I am dedicated to improving our health system so that health services are accessible and affordable for all in our community.
I am the daughter of Italian migrants who came to South Australia seeking a better life for their children. I share the love of culture, language, hard work and diversity that migrants bring to this country.
I know that climate change is one of the biggest challenges that we face. Our environment must be protected, and we need to transition to a safer, more diversified economy, that creates jobs for the future.
I am passionate about my community and want to be a strong voice for the people of Mayo.
